Vision
Imagine a world where everyone has access to fresh, healthy food. At our core, we believe that no one should ever have to go hungry and that access to nutritious food is a basic human right. That's why we're on a mission to expand our garden to an impressive 6 acres, utilizing innovative techniques to enrich the soil with gypsum and manure and expanding our irrigation system to maximize yield. Our vision is to make a meaningful impact in reducing food insecurity and creating a world where healthy food is available. Join us on this journey toward a brighter and healthier future for all.

Mission
Our mission is to combat food insecurity by providing accessible, fresh organic vegetables to food pantries and other organizations, delivered on the same day they are harvested. We strive to increase access to healthy food options and promote gardening knowledge and practices. To achieve this, we aim to enhance our yields by enriching the soil with manure and gypsum, which will improve soil health and increase productivity.
Touching Lives, Making a Difference
In 2000, we started God's Garden with a simple mission - to provide fresh vegetables to our local community. Today, we've grown to not only supply food pantries with homegrown produce, but to also serve as an educational resource and a hub for community service. We're proud to share our knowledge and bring people together in our beautiful garden. We'd love for you to come and visit, and see firsthand how we're honoring and serving God through this garden.

God's Garden is a 501c3 non-profit (2016) community garden with a mission to provide fresh vegetables to underprivileged communities and to educate people of all ages on sustainable vegetable gardening practices. Our work is grounded in Christ, and we strive to make a positive impact through our gardening efforts. We were originally located at a different property, but thanks to the gracious support of the Land Owner, we now have a 1/2-acre garden section at 1125 Hwy. 90A, Missouri City, Texas (behind Second Mile Mission) in Fort Bend County and we are continuing to expand. Join us in our mission to serve and support our community through sustainable gardening practices.

Ways to help?
Hey there! We're excited to announce that God's Garden has started a new garden and we could really use your help to get it up and running! We've included some photos so you can see our progress. Currently, we're in need of financial support to purchase gypsum in large quantities to help improve the clay soil. In addition, we need manure in large quantities so we pay to have it moved from a stables to the Garden and also for a front end loader to spread it on top of the Gypsum. We purchase fertilizer, maintain equipment (rotor tillers, weed whacker, etc.), purchase gasoline and drip irrigation equipment supplies. Any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated! Plus, we're always looking for volunteers to come out and lend a hand. If you're interested in volunteering, please fill out our volunteer form. Thanks so much for your support!
